A historic estate with a new hospitality purpose
DDK Castle brings heritage, fine dining, executive accommodation and memorable events together within approximately 22,000 m² of grounds beside ancient moats and the River Geul.
The estate reveals itself slowly
A linden-lined driveway leads across the bridge and historic moat to the gatehouse. The visitor centre and cafe become the natural point of welcome for the castle, hotel, apartments and grounds.
The River Geul and protected hills create beauty, privacy and a strong sense of place.
Centuries remain visible in every room
Grand Reception
Soaring ceilings, wall panelling, oak doors and a restored white marble fireplace.
Church Hall
Painted doors believed to be approximately 800 years old lead toward the former altar area.
Library and Knight’s Hall
Restored ceilings, oak flooring and a monumental fireplace with the family coat of arms.
Original Detail
Historic fittings remain alongside discreet contemporary comfort and natural light.
Thirty rooms shaped by the estate
The hotel borders one of the castle gardens. Each room combines privacy and comfort with preserved architectural character and discreet contemporary amenities.
Extended stays and exclusive residential accommodation broaden the estate’s hospitality offer.
